Lamka Never Goes Out of Style

The town-folks were not far behind in keeping up with the styles and trends of the time. The proof of this can be seen in their taste of fashion, music and lifestyle. Western influence was strong and they did not shy away from pop influence. From formals and bold dresses, which can be seen from the earliest photographs until recent ones, while musical expressions remain one of the key factors of cultural change. Choirs, carols, bands, individual singers, etc continue to dominate the memories and nostalgia of the place.
