People from the town were no strangers to Delhi from attending Republic Day parades, or meeting important officials in the capital. Culture troupes and delegations from the town would occasionally get invited for interactions and more which exposed people of the town and its cultural heritage in myriad ways. Evidence of these through photographs continues to be a testament and serves a value beyond memory which shaped the imagination of the town-folks.
